New York, NY – July 24, 2023 –The Durst Organization today announced that [Rosemary’s] (https://www.rosemarysnyc.com/), the beloved Italian restaurant known for its airy, urban farmhouse ambiance and neighborly hospitality, will open a new location at [825 Third Avenue] (https://www.825thirdavenue.com/). This new east side outpost for Rosemary’s will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, and private dining options. The Durst Organization is nearing completion of a full modernization of the building, including the new tenant amenity center Well& by Durst, an expansive 12th floor indoor-outdoor space with a wrap-around terrace for meetings, events, and entertainment.

At 825 Third, Rosemary’s guests will find the signature welcoming environs and inviting design for which the restaurant is known, further imbued by the farm-to-table seasonal fare and warm service. The 3,000-square-foot ground floor, corner dining room will seat 100 inside, with a private dining room for 22, and bar seating for 40. An outdoor patio along the newly transformed plaza will have capacity for 50 guests. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner, and is expected to open in late 2023. There will also be a convenient grab-and-go counter, known as Rosemary’s Pantry, serving coffee, sandwiches, and pastries.

The 530,000-square-foot 825 Third is being thoroughly reimagined with a $150 million renovation to focus on tenant comfort, modern aesthetics, and operational efficiency. This includes:

This will be the third Rosemary’s in NYC, joining the West Village and Gramercy neighborhood locations, and its first located in a premier office tower in the midtown area, as part of a concerted effort to bring exciting new amenities to both neighborhood residents and the building’s commercial tenants. Durst is also working to build connections between Rosemary’s and the company’s McEnroe Organic Farm. Co-founded by the Durst and McEnroe families, it is one of the largest organic farms in New York producing organic harvests and meats, as well as education programming.
