As the Senior Vice President of Information Technology at The Durst Organization, Sal Vetrano is responsible for the system development for all of The Durst Organization’s mission critical applications. Sal also manages the technical support helpdesk and works closely with the network and operations teams supporting the overall infrastructure of the entire portfolio, including setting cyber-security standards.

Sal comes to The Durst Organization with 35 years of IT experience. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Money Management with a computer science minor at Adelphi University, Sal began his career as a programmer at Chemical Bank, quickly ascended to a project management level, and ultimately the Director of IT and Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to joining The Durst Organization, Sal spent 16 years at Nikon USA where he was responsible for all development, network management and overall security for North America, multiple offices across South America and Canada.
