New York, NY (April 9, 2024) – Springbone Kitchen (Springbone) celebrated the grand opening of eatery’s newest location at The Durst Organization’s 1155 Avenue of the Americas on April 2nd.
Springbone is a fast-casual restaurant celebrated for bone broth and healthy offerings. The restaurant is synonymous with quality and simplicity, delivering food that tastes and feels homemade. Their menu of bone broths, soups, vegetables, grass-fed beef and free-range chicken bowls, and herb-roasted salmon dishes are entirely gluten- and seed oil-free.
“We are delighted that Springbone has opened at 1155 Avenue of the Americas. Their innovative culinary vision delivers exceptional experiences for our tenants and Midtown neighbors,” said Jody Durst, President of The Durst Organization.
“Our grand opening week at 1155 Avenue of the Americas has been our strongest of any Springbone opening to date. We think it’s a clear indication that consumers are more focused on eating healthily than ever. Based on the early reception and feedback from guests, we feel confident this is going to be a great location for us,” said Sam Eckstein, Co-Founder, Springbone Kitchen.
Springbone at 1155 Avenue of the Americas is now open Monday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Fridays 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
1155 Avenue of the Americas, a best-in-class 42-story office tower in Midtown, stands prominently on the western blockfront of Avenue of the Americas between 44th and 45th Streets. Springbone’s entrance at 1155 Avenue of the Americas is located on 45th Street.
1155 has become a destination for high-quality, fast casual food and beverage offerings in Midtown. The building is also home to Gumption Coffee, the award-winning specialty coffee roasters from Australia, and Dill & Parsley, which offers Mediterranean meals with fresh, natural ingredients.
The Durst Organization completed a $130 million transformation at the property with significant architectural enhancements including a unique landscaped entry plaza on West 44th Street, a dramatic, award-winning light-filled lobby with reception desks clad in distinctive back-lit sea glass, turnstile security access, destination dispatch elevator controls, newly appointed elevator cabs, and luminous chamfered corners.
1155 Avenue of the Americas was the first building in New York City to launch thermal ice storage to cool the building as well as the first to receive the Existing Buildings Operations Maintenance (EBOM) LEED Gold rating.
Office tenants include Global Relay, which recently leased the top five floors of the building, IMA New York, which is opening the company’s first New York City office at the tower, as well as Perkins Coie, Jenner & Block, Baird, Cornell University, and Verizon. The Durst Organization will also be moving the company’s corporate office to newly renovated space at 1155 this spring.
